• The first release from the Vintage
Reserve Family.
• This Silver Reserve bottling consists of
21 Year Old Irish whiskey distilled in
1991 and matured firstly in Bourbon casks then allowed to marry in Sauterne
wine casks.
• Consisting of only hand selected casks
chosen for their distinctive taste qualities.
• This small batch bottling is limited to
only 5,000 bottles in total.
Tasting Notes
• Colour - A hefty, full-bodied gold.
• Nose - Malty with mellow wood and toffee, plus a touch of sea spray.
• Taste - Complex yet inviting retaining the woody and malty elements, but the toffee drops farther back, and instead of a
crisp saltiness the whiskey comes on late with a dash of white pepper.
• Finish - Long, mellow, and warmly joyful, with a light, peppery afterglow and a toffee aftertaste.
