The Transcontinental Rum Line reflects the great diversity that can be found around the world of rum production, inspired by the voyage of rum between the country of distillation and aging conditions. The founding principle of the range is transparency. No sugar or colouring added and aging conditions are clear.
This rum was distilled in 2014 in Queensland, Australia from fermented molasses. Only a pot still was used. After aging in ex-bourbon barrels for five full years in Australia, it was sent to Europe for additional aging in ex-cognac foudre in France.
