The hill "Stielle" is one of the historic areas for production of Sangiovese grapes: there are written documents with references to vineyards dated 1153. Stielle enjoys a privileged position: its soil, traditionally Chianti style, the sun exposure and luminosity, air flows and altitude turn this vineyard into the perfect one to produce a great Crù.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Sangiovese 80% and Cabernet Sauvignon 20%
TASTING NOTES: Aroma of ripe red fruit, black pepper, tobacco. Fullbodied and powerful on the palate, with an elegant and refreshing finish. Smooth yet crispy tannin. A great wine which can also be stored for long periods.
FOOD PAIRINGS: T-bone steaks, roasts and aged cheese.
