Located at the foot of the South/Southwest slope of Saint-Émilion, Château Daugay stretches as far as the eye can see in this prestigious vineyard terroir. The name Daugay dates back more than 500 years and originates from the presence of the jaybird, known in the local dialect as 'Daou gay,' on the hillocks and slopes that bear this name.
Tasting notes
Nice dark robe with a garnet touch. The aroma is intense, fresh and expressive; with touches of red berries and spices. The wine is very well balanced, fine and supported by delicates tannins. The texture
is soft and very juicy, with flavory hints of red fruits. The finale is long and delicate, to complete this elegant wine.
