CHÂTEAU BASTOR-LAMONTAGNE 2017
Sauternes AOP, White - 80 % Sémillon, 20 % Sauvignon
"Nil sine Fide", the Château motto recalls the noble past of Château Bastor-Lamontagne. Indeed, the property belonged to the royal estates until 1711. In the 19th century, Mr Amédée Larrieu, owner of Château Haut Brion in Pessac, bought Bastor-Lamontagne. Since 2018, the Helfrich family, the new owner, has been writing a new page in the history of this great wine. The Château is located in Preignac, on one of the five communes of the Sauternes Appellation and extends over 56 hectares in one piece. The vineyard has been certified Organic Agriculture since the 2016 vintage. In addition, to guarantee excellent quality, this certification also contributes to the good development of the vineyard's biodiversity. Château Bastor-Lamontagne is a member of the Union des Grands Crus de Bordeaux (UGCB).
